RJD Leader Tejashwi Yadav Slams CM Nitish Kumar’s Minister For Claiming Son-In-Law Was Appointed Through RSS Quota (VIDEO)

Patna: A political furore erupted in poll bound Bihar on Wednesday when chief minister Nitish Kumar`s close aide and minister Ashok Choudhary said that his son-in-law was made a member of a Commission from RSS quota, attracting sharp reaction from RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav.

Senior JD (U) leader Choudhary in defence of his son-in-law Saayan Kunal being appointed a member of Bihar State Board of Religious Trusts by contendending that he was inducted into the Commission from RSS quota.

Countering Tejashwi`s attack, Choudhary hit back at him by using the adage, “pot calling the kettle black.”

Tejashwi claimed on 'X', “The reins of Nitish Kumar are in the hands of RSS-BJP. The Nitish government is running on the policies and decisions of RSS. This point of ours has been publicly accepted and endorsed by the minister of Nitish Kumar's kitchen cabinet. Now, even in CMO, officers from RSS quota have been posted.”

"Blocking 65 percent reservation for Dalits-OBCs-EBCs, depriving reserved classes of their rights in jobs, sidelining officers from deprived classes in administration, taking actions as possible against employees and officers from Dalit-OBC-OBC and Muslim classes in fabricated cases, atrocity against Muslims, all this is being done in Bihar by RSS. Chief Minister is unconscious. Bhunja Party (an oblique reference to Nitish's inner circle) is looting Bihar with both hands under the leadership of a retired officer," he added.

Saayan`s father and a former IPS officer Kishore Kunal also once headed the Religious Trusts.

Earlier, Tejashwi had taken a potshot at Nitish following appointments of sons-in-law of NDA leaders in prime positions in the state`s commissions. He also alleged that Nitish should constitute a 'dedicated Jamai Commission’ so that all sons-in-law could be adjusted in it.

Tejashwi also alleged that Nitish’s close aides were putting obstacles in Nishant's entry into politics. “People attending Nitish’s ‘bhoonja party ', were getting their own children and close relatives appointed to influential bodies by taking full advantage of the CM's unsound state of mind (‘achet avastha’),” Tejashwi claimed while talking to reporters.

“CM’s close aides feel threatened by the possibility of Nishant’s entry into politics, even though both Nitish and his son seem to be willing,” he remarked.

Meanwhile, JD (U) MLA from Benipur, Vinay Kumar Chaudhary said that he would move a proposal in the party`s legislative body soon, urging Nishant to enter politics.
