The next morning, as soon as the door was opened, the boy tried to run away, but was caught by the girl's relatives. They tied him to a tree using a rope and beat him mercilessly. The boy kept crying and begging them to stop, promising never to meet the girl again. However, the family members did not listen to him and continued the beating.

Hearing the boy’s screams, a crowd of villagers gathered and informed the police. The police arrived at the spot and freed the boy from the tree. Both the boy and the girl were then taken to the police station for questioning.

It was later revealed that the girl is a Class 7 student, while the boy is studying in Intermediate (Class 11/12). The girl's family had been unhappy with their relationship and were troubled by the boy’s actions for quite some time.
