Noida: In a shocking incident, a woman dragged an eight-year-old child out of the lift and brutally thrashed him in Uttar Pradesh's Greater Noida as the child got scared of a dog. The entire incident was caught on CCTV and soon the video went viral on social media. The incident occurred in 12th Avenue of Gaur City 2, reported NDTV India.
In the video, it could be seen that a boy was standing in a lift when suddenly the woman came in with her pet dog. The boy got scared of the dog as the animal was without a leach. The child requested the woman not to let the dog in with folded hands.
However, the woman, instead of understanding the boy's condition, got angry and pulled the boy out of the lift and started slapping him. The woman beating up the child mercilessly was captured on the CCTV in the lift. The again entered the lift and was seen crying.
As per the report, the incident sparked outrage among the residents of the society. They reportedly raised slogans at the gate of the society. After receiving the information, the police reached the spot and controlled the situation.
The police have taken cognizance of the viral video and registered a case against the woman, reported NDTV India quoting DCP Central Noida Shakti Awasthi. As per Awasthi, the police have taken the woman into custody
