The missile tests come amid heightened tensions between Pakistan and India following the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack in Indian-administered Kashmir, which resulted in the deaths of 26 people.
India has accused Pakistan-based groups of involvement, leading to a series of diplomatic and economic measures, including the suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty and the revocation of visas issued to Pakistani nationals.
As per reports, senior military officials, including Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza and Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir, witnessed the Fatah missile launch and expressed confidence in the armed forces' preparedness to defend Pakistan's territorial integrity.
