Srinagar: The official X handle of Kerala Congress slammed Bhartiya Janta Party's former Jammu & Kashmir unit chief and national executive member, Ravindra Raina for posting a reel with the armed forces marching in the snow, just days after the Pahalgam terror attack.
In the 1 minute 14 seconds-long reel, Raina appears in high spirits, running alongside uniformed soldiers in snow-clad terrain with the song ‘Arambh hai prachand’ playing in the background.
Kerala Congress in a post said, "BJP National Executive Member @RavinderRaina's reels with security forces in Kashmir."
Indicating towards Kiran Bhai Patel, the conman who posed to be an official of the Prime Minister's office and got Z plus security in Jammu & Kashmir, the party said "This is the treatment BJP leaders or even fake PMO officials get. But not a single police or military person was posted where over 2000 tourists visit. Not a single gunshot was fired back."
The reel was posted less than two weeks after the Pahalgam terror attack that left 26 civilians dead.
Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi also took the opportunity to hit out at the BJP leader. "Reel game on point. If you have security such as this ek reel toh banti hai. Security forces can protect borders later, BJP waalon ko bachana bahut zaroori hai," the post read.
Besides, several handles linked to the Congress has criticised the BJP leader for the reel.Raina is yet to respond to the backlash.
