Gurugram: In a disturbing incident reported from Gurugram, a group of bikers, during a breakfast ride on Sunday, April 20, was reportedly assaulted by some drunk men near the Dwarka Expressway.
The attackers, who also vandalised the bikers’ vehicles, caused damages worth several lakhs. However, one of the victims later used Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to trace the accused on social media, even before the police could act.
'They Hit Me With an Iron Bat'
Hardik Sharma, one of the victims, recounted the harrowing experience, describing how the bikers were cornered and assaulted without provocation. “They hit me with an iron bat. I survived because of my helmet,” he told NDTV. Sharma also claimed that he was “threatened with a knife” and warned, “We will shoot you if you shoot our videos.”
According to the NDTV report, the group was en route to Panchgaon in Manesar from Ambience Mall when a black Scorpio began swerving dangerously close to them. “We stopped to let them pass, but they pulled over and got out with glasses in their hands. They were drunk,” Sharma told the publication.
The attackers allegedly began hitting one rider and then vandalising the bikes, which are reportedly valued between Rs 10 to Rs 25 lakh each.

Despite providing leads and waiting 12 hours to get an FIR registered, Sharma said no arrests have been made. “The damage to my bike is worth Rs 4 to 5 lakh,” he told the publication. The police claim that they are reviewing the CCTV footage and are currently working to apprehend the suspects.
