Goa To Host 'Sanatan Rashtra Sankhanad Mahotsav' From May 17 To 19; Over 20,000 Devotees Expected

A grand 'Sanatan Rashtra Sankhanad Mahotsav' will be held in Goa from May 17 to 19 in the presence of over 20,000 devotees, saints and political leaders.

Sanatan Sanstha, a right-wing Hindu organisation working to promote spirituality and establishment of Ram Rajya, has announced a 'Sanatan Rashtra Sankhanad Mahotsav' in Goa’s Ponda on the occasion of the 83rd birth anniversary of its founder Satchidananda Parabrahma Dr. Jayant Balaji Athawale.

The three-day festival, to be held at the Goa College of Engineering Grounds in Farmagudi, will also commemorate the silver jubilee of Sanatan Sanstha. It will host a gathering of saints, mahants, and religious leaders from across the country, who are expected to guide the nation, religion, culture, and Hindu society to reclaim its former glory with their powerful and inspiring words. The official website of the festival was formally inaugurated by Goa Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant on April 17 at his office in Goa’s Porvorim.

Political figures including union minister of state for Energy Shripad Naik, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis and DyCM Eknath Shinde, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath and Telangana’s BJP MLA T. Raja Singh are expected to attend the event. Similarly spiritual and religious leaders like Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Swami Ramdev, Govind Dev Giri Maharaj and Champat Rai of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust, Ravindra Puri Maharaj of Akhil Bharatiya Akhada Parishad, Mahant Raju Das of Ayodhya’s Hanumangarhi, and Devkinandana Thakur of Sanatan Board have also been invited for the event.

Chetan Rajhans, spokesperson of the organisation, said, “The festival is being organised to safeguard the essence of the nation and to restore the glory of the sacred pillars of Sanatan Dharma which include cow, Ganga, Gayatri, temples, and Vedic scriptures. A collective resolution will be made to establish an ideal nation in the form of Ram Rajya, which will strengthen the unity among all spiritual institutions and Hindu organisations.”
