Faridabad Woman Murder Case: Father-In-Law Raped Her, Buried Body In Pit Outside Home - Shocking Details Surface
Shocking details surfaced in the Faridabad murder case where a body of a 24-year-old married woman was found buried in a pit dug outside her marital home. The deceased's father-in-law confessed during the police interrogation that he had also raped her before killing her.

Faridabad: Shocking details surfaced in the Faridabad murder case where a body of a 24-year-old married woman was found buried in a pit dug outside her marital home. The woman was allegedly murdered in April this year. However, her decomposed body was recovered two months after the death. The deceased, Tanu Rajput, was a native of Shikohabad in Firozabad district. Her in-laws had claimed that she had run away with someone else.
She was married to Arun in July 2023. After Tanu's body was recovered, the police arrested four members of her in-laws' family, husband, father-in-law and mother-in-law. As per NDTV, during questioning, Tanu's father-in-law made a shocking confession.
The police said that the woman's in-laws finalised the plan to kill her on April 14. As per the NDTV report, Tanu's mother-in-law as sent to attend a wedding in Uttar Pradesh's Etah as an alibi. On the night of April 21, Arun allegedly mixed sleeping pills in the food served to Tanu and his sister.
As per Tanu's father-in-law, he entered Tanu's room to kill her. However, before murdering her, he allegedly raped her. He did not tell this to his wife or son. After allegedly raping and killing his daughter-in-law, he called Arun upstairs. Both accused wrapped the woman's body and threw it into a pit, which they had already excavated in the street outside their house.

Last week, Tanu's body was recovered from the 10-feet-deep pit. The body was recovered from a newly laid concrete section of a public lane next to the home where she lived with her husband. As per neighbours, the area was dug up almost two months ago, the same time when Tanu went missing. Notably, construction work was carried out in the area for building a wastewater drain in the area.

Meanwhile, Tanu's sister Preeti alleged that the deceased was mentally and physically harassed after her marriage. She further accused Tanu's in-laws of demanding gold jewellery and money as dowry after her marriage in 2023.
