Jehanabad: A bizarre incident has come to light from Jehanabad in Bihar, where trees are seen standing in the middle of the 7.48 km-long Patna–Gaya main road, posing a serious risk of accidents. The road widening project was worth ₹100 crore. Photos of the road have gone viral on social media, triggering strong reactions from netizens.

One of the users said,"Vikaas itna speed se hua ki ped kaatne ka time hi nahi mila."(sic) Which roughly translates to, "The development happened so fast that there was no time to cut the trees."

Another user said,"It's good environment bach gaya."

Another user jokingly said,"Sir aap nhi samajhen! Road ko garmi me chaanv dene liye rakha hai."

Another user sarcastically said, “Sir, aap nahi samjhen! Road ko garmi me chhaav dene ke liye rakha hai,” which roughly translates to, “Sir, you didn’t understand — it’s meant to provide shade to the road during summer.”
