Disturbing Visuals: Thar Runs Over Security Guard After He Opposes Honking In Delhi's Mahipalpur; Accused Arrested

In a disturbing incident, a man ran his Thar SUV over a security guard over a minor dispute in Delhi's Mahiplapur. According to reports, The victim Rajiv Kumar was reportedly returning home for an overnight shift when he objected to honking by the Thar driver. The incident, which took place on April 19, was caught on CCTV installed in the area and its video soon surfaced on social media.

Kumar works as a security guard at the Delhi airport's Terminal, reported NDTV. As per the report, Kumar was walking towards his home after a cab dropped him at the Mahipalpur Chowk when the SUV came from behind and started honking loudly.

The security guard asked the Thar driver, Vijay, to stop honking. It led to an argument between the two. Vijay threatened Kumar to run over him.

As the security guard crossed the road, Vijay hit him with Thar. Kumar fell to the ground. The accused then reversed his car and ran over Kumar.

The security guard reportedly sustained multiple fractures on both legs. He was rushed to a hospital. Meanwhile, Vijay fled from the spot. An attempt to murder case was registered against Vijay. A search operation was launched to nab the accused. He was arrested by the police.

The victim is a native of Bihar, while the accused is a resident of Delhi's Rangpuri.

In March this year, An unidentified person driving Thar created a ruckus on a road in Uttar Pradesh's Noida. The entire incident was caught on camera and the video went viral on social media on March 12. The viral video shows the Thar rammed into several vehicles on the road. The incident reportedly took place on March 10 Sector 16 car market under the jurisdiction of the Phase-1 Police Station. He was later arrested by the police.
