Dehradun Weather: Heavy To Very Heavy Rainfall Is Predicted In Some Regions Of Uttarakhand; IMD Issues Orange Alert
There is a warning of heavy rain in the mountainous areas of Uttarakhand on Sunday. An orange alert for heavy rain has been issued in some parts of Dehradun, Pithoragarh, and Bageshwar districts.

Dehradun: The city has been experiencing extremely heavy rainfall in the numerous regions of Uttarakhand as the weather has changed from the mountains to the plains. Intermittent heavy rains have been continuing for the last two to three days. The rainfall is expected to continue in numerous regions of Uttarakhand.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert. The IMD said that extremely heavy rainfall is predicted in various regions of Uttarakhand, and it will be accompanied by gusty winds, thunderstorms, and lightning. Tourists and residents are advised to be cautious and avoid unnecessary travel.

The minimum and maximum temperatures are likely to be around 23 degrees Celsius and 28 degrees Celsius, respectively. The humidity is likely to be around 86 per cent. The city woke up at 05:46 AM and the sun is likely to set at 6: 57 PM. The wind is expected to blow from North at 5 km/h.

Landslides have affected movement on roads in many places in the mountains. Rainfall may continue in most areas of the state for the next three to four days. Heavy rainfall warning has been issued in Dehradun today as well. According to the Meteorological Center, an alert has been issued regarding heavy rainfall in many districts today.
