Pratapgarh: There was a stir in a village in Uttar Pradesh's Pratapgarh on Tuesday morning after a giant python was spotted in a Safeda orchard. Some children were playing cricket there, and during the game, when the ball went into the bushes, one of them noticed a 12 feet long python.
Fearing the snake, the children started shouting. Hearing the shouts, a crowd of villagers gathered there. The villagers immediately informed the Kandhai police station and the forest department.
It seems the police reached first at the spot. A video from the spot shows, a brave cop tactically catching the big snake, putting it into a sack and rescuing it.
Local residents said the size of the python was much bigger than normal.
