Uttarakhand: Kedarnath Dham-Bound Private Chopper Makes Emergency Landing On Road In Rudraprayag (VIDEO)
Tourists had a close shave on Saturday after the chopper in which they were travelling made an emergency landing in Uttrakhand's Rudraprayag on Saturday.

Rudraprayag: A private helicopter en route to Kedarnath Dham made an emergency landing in Uttarakhand's Rudraprayag on Saturday. The incident took place in the Guptkashi of the district after the chopper reportedly suffered a technical glitch. The chopper took off from Sirsi.
The chopper landed in the middle of the road. After the incident, panic gripped the pilgrims aboard the helicopter. The video of the chopper landing on the road also surfaced online.
In the video, several cars could also be seen parked on the roadside. All the passengers are reported to be safe.

"A private helicopter en route to Kedarnath Dham made an emergency landing in Guptkashi of Rudraprayag district due to a technical fault. All the people on board the helicopter are safe," Uttarakhand ADG Law and Order Dr V Murugeshan said as reported by ANI.
As per the CEO of Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority (UCADA), the helicopter belongs to Crestel Aviation Private Limited. The Directorate General Of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has been informed about the incident.
The rest of the shuttle operations are going on normally as per schedule.
The DGCA issued a statemnet regarding the Indicident. It said that Captain RPS Sodhi had made a hard landing on the road adjacent to the Bharasu helipad, reported mint. The pilot of the chopper was reportedly taken to a hospital
