SSC Exam: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced that applicants will be able to modify information in their One-Time Registration (OTR) profiles from August 14 to August 31, 2025.
Aspirants who intend to participate in the commission's recruitment examinations and have created OTR profiles but wish to make modifications can do so by visiting the official website of SSC at ssc.gov.in.
In the official notice, SSC said, “All the candidates are hereby informed that the edit OTR facility will be available from 14.08.2025 to 31.08.2025. Candidates who wish to modify/ correct their details are advised to utilise the said facility within the applicable time duration. Details once submitted will be considered for future examinations, and the candidates will not be permitted to edit OTR details beyond the aforementioned window.”
SSC OTR Details: How to edit?
To make the correction in the SSC OTR details candidates need to follow mentioned below steps:
Step 1: Visit the official website of SSC at ssc.gov.in.
Step 2: After this, applicants need to login by using the OTR credentials.
Step 3: Next, go to the 'Edit OTR' section.
Step 4: Now, make the required changes and then save.
Step 5: Check all the details carefully and then submit.
Note: Applicants with questions can contact the SSC assistance desk by phone or email. Physical submissions will not be considered, according to the commission.
Why is One-Time Registration done?
One-Time Registration is a common technique that allows candidates to apply for SSC recruiting exams with the same login information, removing the need to register for each exam separately. Creating an OTR profile involves the following steps:
Step 1: Filling up personal information: Candidate's name, identification, and contact information
Step 2: Create a new password.
Step 3: Filling out extra information: Candidate's nationality, address, and education
Step 4: Declaration: Candidate details and confirmation.
About SSC CGLE Exam 2025
The commission has postponed the Combined Graduate Level Exam (CGLE), 2025, which was slated to begin on August 13, 2025.
SSC stated that it will perform a thorough examination of the exam platform's operational readiness. The CGL exam will now begin in the first week of September 2025, with a new timetable to be issued soon on the commission's website.
