Church Of North India Condemns Killing Of Bibhas Nayak In Hampi Attack | X @_sayema

Mumbai: Members of the Church of North India have condemned the killing of Odisha resident Bibhas Nayak in Hampi, Karnataka, during an attack on a group of tourists and a homestay owner on March 6 near the Unesco site.

Bibhas was the son of Bishop Bijay Kumar Nayak, moderator of the Church of North India CNI Synod. Nayak, 30, died during the attack on two women - an Israeli tourist and an Indian homestay operator - and three male tourists, including Nayak.

The three assailants, who have been arrested, sexually assaulted the women after pushing the men into a canal. While the two other men survived, Nayak's body was recovered the next morning
