Raipur: The Chhattisgarh government is taking a major step toward improving healthcare by modernizing the facilities at Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Smriti Hospital in Raipur. In a meeting held at the Ministry in Nava Raipur, Health and Family Welfare Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal emphasized the government's commitment to providing affordable, accessible, and high-quality healthcare to every citizen.
During the meeting, Minister Jaiswal asked officials to prioritize the availability of modern medical equipment, technical resources, and patient-friendly services in the hospital. He stressed the importance of strong coordination between departments for ongoing expansion and electrification work, to ensure timely and quality implementation.
The discussion involved a detailed review of how to upgrade both the hospital’s infrastructure and services to better serve the public. Present at the meeting were Secretary of the Health Department, Amit Kataria; Commissioner of Medical Education, Kiran Kaushal; the Dean of Medical College Raipur; representatives of hospital management, and other senior officials.
