“The police administration is torturing the common citizens on the basis of caste and religion. Muslims are especially being targeted and harassed. Criminals are emboldened under the protection of the government. The ministers themselves are openly accepting the crimes are being sponsored by the government. Bihar ministers as well as central ministers are justifying the firing of hundreds of rounds. There is a worrying situation of anarchy and chaos in the state. The Chief Minister is unaware of all this," he alleged.
Tejashwi Yadav On The Madhubani Incident
While referring to the beating of the Maulana by police personnel in Madhubani district, Tejashwi said, ”Whatever happened in Madhubani is very painful. Police-administration should serve and protect people. There is not a single day when we do not have the incident of firing in Bihar. Members of a particular community are being targeted. Some people in Bihar already have such a mentality but even some people in the police force have the same mentality.

Nitish has lost trust of the people in the manner he is silent, his activities and his statements made every day. Somewhere there are incidents of paper lek and somewhere there are reports of rape. Nitish has no control over his own government as somebody else is pulling its strings,” he alleged.
