Bengaluru: The city is set to experience light rainfall on Friday, June 6, 2025. Cloudy skies are also expected in the city which is expected to remain same throughout the day. The city woke up at 05: 53 AM. The minimum and maximum temperatures are expected to range from 21 degrees Celsius and 29 degrees Celsius, respectively.
The city is expected to witness the sunset at 06: 44 PM. The residents will not get respite from the humidity and it is likely to be around 67 per cent.
Rainfall is predicted in these regions
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued light rainfall in coastal and adjoining regions, North Interior Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka. Whereas scattered rainfall is predicted in isolated regions of the state.
KSNDMC shared a weather report on X
Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre (KSNDMC) shared a weather report on X (formerly Twitter) for seven days and wrote,"Scattered to moderate rainfall over coastal and hill districts of the state. Inland districts are likely to experience showers and scattered moderate rains from June 9 onwards."
Heavy rainfall is predicted in the upcoming days
According to the IMD, the state is set to witness an early and vigorous onset of the southwest monsoon. Coastal districts like Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, and Uttara Kannada are likely to experience heavy rainfall accompanied by lightning and thunderstorms. However, Chikkaballapur, Ramanagara, Kolar and Chamarajanagar are likely to experience light rainfall.

Mostly cloudy skies are predicted on Saturday. The minimum and maximum temperatures are likely to be around 21 degrees Celsius and 31 degrees Celsius, respectively. The humidity will likely to be around 65 per cent. The wind is expected to blow from the West at 11 kmph.
