After months of making headlines worldwide, Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez have officially tied the knot in what has been described as one of the most extravagant weddings of the year, according to a report by Fox Digital News. On June 27, the Amazon founder and the Emmy Award-winning journalist and pilot said "I do" in the romantic city of Venice, Italy.

The much-anticipated wedding took place with over 200 elite guests in attendance. Global icons and billionaires gathered to celebrate the couple’s union, including Bill Gates, Ivanka Trump, Leonardo DiCaprio, Kim Kardashian, Kylie and Kendall Jenner, and Beyoncé. Representing India on the global guest list were socialite Natasha Poonawalla and Indian-American entrepreneur Mona Patel with her husband.

By 2023, their bond had visibly grown stronger. During a dreamy vacation aboard Bezos’ luxurious superyacht off the Amalfi Coast, he proposed with a breathtaking 30-carat diamond ring. Recalling the moment in an interview with Vogue, Sanchez said she was so taken aback by the surprise, she “blacked out a bit.”
