Terming visits and offering prayers at Dargah & Mazars against the culture of Santan dharma, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has asked the Hindus to refrain from it. VHP has issued a helpline number for Hindus in various areas asking them to report if any threat is given.
The VHP has advised Hindus not to visit any Dargah and Mazars, as there is no place for such things in our religion. The regional organization secretary of VHP, Gajendra said in Prayagraj that Hindus should not go to places such as Ajmer Shareef, Chote & Bade Sarkar Dargah in Bareilly. These are the places where a large number of Hindus throng to offer prayers besides Muslims.
Condemning the threat issued by the Khadim of Ajmer Dargah to BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma, the VHP office-bearer said it is a clear challenge to the sovereignty and secularism of the country.
VHP leader said that Hindus are being attacked at many places in the country these days. In Udaipur, the extremists killed Kanhaiya Lal and in Amrawati, they slained Umesh Kolhe. Besides, in many places, there have been reports of assaults on the religious processions of Hindus adding that the VHP, Bajrang Dal and the people of this country would never accept such criminal activities against Hindus.
Gajendra said that Hindus are getting threats but the local Bajrang Dal workers would protect them. He said that helpline numbers have been issued for the Hindus and a plan has been chalked out to tackle such threats. He appealed to people to report on these helpline numbers in case anyone gives threats to them.
The VHP leader also said that the regional offices of VHP and Bajrang Dal have been asked to provide help in such cases with immediate effect.
