Actress Nushrratt Bharuccha, who was recently seen in Chhorii 2, opened up about feeling uncomfortable wearing a bikini on-screen for Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2. To overcome her fear, she took a solo trip abroad, where she wore bikinis from morning to night for three days straight — a move that helped her break her insecurities and consciousness, which she described as a liberating experience.

In a conversation with Hauterrfly, Nushrratt said, "For me, it has always been that what I do in real life and what I have experienced, I can do that on screen. Because I have that real-life experience. And I didn’t even wear a bikini. So my biggest problem was, I said, Luv Sir, the problem is that I won’t feel comfortable in this. Even if I wear it. I will be uncomfortable. So, it’s your shot. How can I be confident? Internally I have to become okay with doing this. I have not owned it yet. And I need to be able to experience it and own it to do it."

Further, the actress shared that she took a solo trip abroad because, in Mumbai, India, one can’t realistically wear a bikini and roam around. She added that she wished to break her own mindset and consciousness about it by telling herself that she was roaming around in a bikini.

"Second day, I forgot that I was in a bikini. It had just become normal. It had become normal that, yes, I was wearing this. I am a woman. What’s wrong with that? From morning to night, I literally purposely wore bikinis. Just to get over the whole fixation I have about it," Bharuccha concluded.
