Video: Travis Scott 'Manhandled' By Security Official Who Mistook Him For A Trespasser During Lakers-Clippers Game
Rapper Travis Scott was mistakenly stopped by security at the Intuit Dome during the Lakers vs. Clippers game. In viral videos, a guard is seen grabbing Travis' coat, assuming he was a trespasser, when he was exiting the arena. Despite being manhandled, Travis remained unfazed, shaking hands with someone before exiting. He has not reacted to the incident yet

Rapper and songwriter Travis Scott found himself in an unexpected altercation on Tuesday night when a security guard at the Intuit Dome mistook him for a trespasser during the Lakers vs. Clippers game. Several videos of the incident have since gone viral on social media.
Travis, who was on the court for the game alongside Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin and his daughter Kylie Rubin, was attempting to exit the arena when the misunderstanding occurred.
Dressed in a brown coat, chain, and green shirt, the rapper was making his way across the court when a security guard, seemingly unaware of his identity, suddenly grabbed the back of his coat in an attempt to stop him.
In the now-viral videos, the rapper is seen struggling momentarily before additional security and venue staff stepped in, resolving the situation. Despite the confusion, Travis appeared unfazed and was even seen exchanging a friendly handshake with someone near the tunnel before making his way out.
While some netizens were left in disbelief after watching the video, others questioned how a figure of his stature could be mistaken for an intruder at a high-profile event.
Reacting to the video on X (Twitter), a user wrote, "NBA security did not recognize it was Travis Scott and tried dragging him 💀" Another commented, "Bro just casually kept walking like nothing happened."
A section of users also joked that the security official will soon get fired.
A user wrote, "Yo if a security guard grabbing me up like that we gonna have some words! I'm NOT just gonna keep walking like somebody didn't grab me up! SOFT."
"You can't expect everyone in the world to know who you are. Travis could have stopped when directed to and told him, but instead chose to push through the security guy. I don't blame security on this one," read another comment.
As of now, neither the Clippers nor Intuit Dome officials have addressed the incident. Travis himself has remained silent on the matter.
