Vamika Claps With Joy As Anushka Sharma's Mother Reunites With Baby Akaay, Virat Kohli Also Spotted In Adorable Viral Video

A video of Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma and her cricketer-husband Virat Kohli with their children, Vamika and Akaay, has taken social media by storm. The candid clip captures the family visiting Anushka's maternal home in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh.

In the now-viral video, Anushka is seen arriving at her mother's house, holding baby Akaay in her arms. Their elder daughter, Vamika, stands nearby, watching them. Anushka's mother greets them warmly at the doorstep, taking little Akaay into her arms and hugging her daughter.

The adorable clip also shows Vamika clapping with joy as the family members reunite. Virat also makes a brief appearance in the background as the family walks into the house together.

It is to be noted that Anushka and Virat have consistently maintained a strict no-photo policy for their children. The couple has requested media and fans on multiple occasions to respect their children's privacy and refrain from sharing or publishing images of Vamika and Akaay.

A few days back, the couple visited the renowned spiritual figure, Premanand Maharaj, at Vrindavan Dham in Uttar Pradesh to seek his blessings. The visit came a day after Virat announced his retirement from Test cricket after 14 years.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Anushka has been away from the film industry for years. Her last film was Zero in 2018 with Katrina Kaif and Shah Rukh Khan.

She is set to star next in Chakda 'Xpress, a biopic of Jhulan Goswami, which was slated to release in 2023. However, the makers have maintained radio silence over the release date, and there has been no official announcement regarding whether the movie has been shelved.
