Veteran Bollywood actress Soni Razdan slammed a news portal for sharing inside pictures of Saif Ali Khan's Bandra residence, hours after he was attacked by a burglar. In the wee hours of Thursday (January 16), an intruder stabbed Saif multiple times, during a robbery attempt, after which he underwent surgeries at Lilavati hospital. His condition is said to be stable and he will be discharged in a couple of days.

Soon after the news surfaced, social media was flooded with various posts and news about the horrifying attack. However, one of the posts on Instagram, shared by India Today, did not go down well with actress Alia Bhatt's mother, Soni Razdan,.

The post in question was titled 'Inside Saif Ali Khan's Rs 45 crore Bandra home where he was stabbed.' One of the slides in the post gave a glimpse of the building, its entrance, lobby area, courtyard and swimming pool.

Another slide was a map of Bandra which showed the locations of celebrity homes, including that of Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Naseeruddin Shah, Sohail Khan, Aamir Khan, Rekha and others.

Soon after the post was shared Soni took to the comments section of the post and urged them to delete it. She wrote, "This is an incredibly irresponsible post. When will our press show even the tiniest bit of maturity and responsibility in the face of what could have been a monumental tragedy ? Suggestion from me. Delete this post while you still can save some face."

TV actress Aastha Chaudhary commented, "Seriously??"

On Thursday, Kareena issued an official statement stating that the family was still trying to process the incident.

"It has been an incredibly challenging day for our family, and we are still trying to process the events that have unfolded. As we navigate this difficult time, I respectfully and humbly request that the media and paparazzi refrain from the relentless speculation and coverage," she wrote.

"While we appreciate the concern and support, the constant scrutiny and attention are not only overwhelming but also pose a significant risk to our safety. I kindly request that you respect our boundaries and give us the space we need to heal and cope as a family," Kareena added.

The intruder fled after the incident at Saif's 12th-floor residence in the Satguru Sharan building. The actor’s representatives termed it an 'attempted burglary'.

Following surgery, Saif’s team stated he is out of danger, recovering under medical supervision, and the police investigation is ongoing.

He further informed, "Two other deep wounds on his left hand and one on the neck was repaired by plastic surgery."
