In a bizarre incident, thousands of people gathered at a spot to catch a glimpse of Shah Rukh Khan's doppelganger, Ibrahim Qadri, on Tuesday. While the exact location is not known, netizens were flabbergasted as the visuals surfaced online and some even called it "embarrassing".
Qadri himself shared the videos on his Instagram handle, which surprisingly has over 2 million followers. In one of the videos, he can be seen struggling to get out of his car as young men mobbed his vehicle and tried to push through the security, all the while screaming SRK's name. The bouncers and security personnel deployed at the spot struggled to control the mob that had gone berserk by then.
In another video, Qadri can be seen performing to SRK's songs and waving at the fans, who all had their phones out to capture a glimpse of the doppelganger on their phones.

The entire incident left netizens confused, and they wondered why were fans queueing up to see SRK's doppelganger. "That's so sad and bad and embarrassing too," a user wrote commented, while another wrote, "Unemployment in India".
"No civic sense at all. It looks like these people are deriving pleasure by causing such inconvenience in public place," another netizen mentioned, and one wrote, "And then blame the celebrity for stampedes."
This is not the first time that Qadri has drawn massive crowds as SRK's doppelganger. He had earlier told Hindustan Times that while people always told him that he looked like the superstar, he started taking it seriously only after the release of Raees.
"It was only after Raees that I took it seriously. I would resemble Shah Rukh sir only 10 per cent, but then I worked on my physique and hair, mannerisms. Now I would say it’s 30 per cent, there’s a long way to go," he had said.

He had also mentioned how shopkeepers sold him their products at higher price thinking he was SRK, and how it has now become difficult for him to carry out day to day activities because of his resemblance with the superstar.
