Shanaya Kapoor, the daughter of Sanjay Kapoor and Maheep Kapoor, has now bagged her third film even before making her acting debut. She will reportedly be seen playing a double role, opposite Munjya fame Abhay Verma.
According to a Filmfare report, Shanaya will be seen in the third installment of the superhit Student Of The Year franchise. The franchise is known for being the launch pad of stars like Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Siddharth Malhotra and Ananya Panday, and now Shanaya seems to be the newest entrant in the fray.
She will reportedly play a double role and will share the screen with Abhay Verma, who led the blockbuster 2024 film, Munjya, and will be next seen in Shah Rukh Khan's King.
With this, Shanaya has bagged her third film, even before making an official Bollywood debut. She is set to star with Vikrant Massey in Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, and a few days ago, the teaser of her film Tu Yaa Main with Adarsh Gourav was dropped online.
As soon as the news went viral, netizens wondered how the starkid managed to bag three films without an official debut. "The real underdog. We all underestimated her fate and overestimated Suhana’s," a user wrote, while another commented, "Ye kaisa job hai, bina start kiye hi promotion mil raha hai."
For those unversed, Shanaya was supposed to mark her Bollywood debut with Karan Johar's Bedhadak, alongside Gurfateh Pirzada and Lakshya Kapoor, however, the film got shelved without any notice.
