Ranvir Shorey expressed his support to AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi after his remarks criticising Pakistan. Owaisi stated, "It is the deep state of Pakistan, which only uses Islam as a facade to cover up all illegal activities and their promotion of terrorism." Shorey showed his support with a raised hands emoji amidst the ongoing India-Pakistan tensions.

Bollywood actor Ranvir Shorey expressed his support for AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi after he criticised Pakistan, stating that the country conveniently forgets that over 230 million Muslims live in India and that their forefathers had rejected the two-nation theory. This statement comes amid the ongoing tensions between India and Pakistan.
Speaking to ANI, Asaduddin questioned why Pakistan is bombing Afghan and Iranian border posts when it speaks about the two-nation theory, pointing out that both Afghans and Iranians are Muslims. "It is the deep state of Pakistan, which only uses Islam as a facade to cover up all illegal activities and their promotion of terrorism. This is what they have been doing for the last 75 years against India," he added.
Reacting to Asaduddin Owaisi's statements, Ranvir commented with a raising hands emoji, showing his support for the views expressed.

Asaduddin further said that this time around, the unity and unanimity he is witnessing in the country against Pakistan-sponsored terrorism is tremendous.
"All the tricks and all the deviousness which Pakistan possesses which are trying to create differences, it will not work this time around. The country is united in ensuring that. We must put an end to this Pakistan sponsored terrorism in India," Asaduddin added.
Tensions between India and Pakistan have escalated significantly following the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam, which resulted in the tragic loss of 26 lives. The attack led to widespread outrage in India, prompting swift action from the Indian government.
In retaliation, India initiated Operation Sindoor on May 7, targeting nine terror launch pads in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
