Ranbir Kapoor's fans are currently awaiting the release of his much-anticipated film Animal, which will also star Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, and Anil Kapoor in key roles. It is slated to hit the big screens in December 2023.
Recently, the Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani actor spilled the beans about Brahmastra Part 2: Dev. Speaking to his fans via Zoom, Ranbir also addressed the criticism received after the release of Brahmastra: Part One: Shiva and said they have 'really' understood the kind of criticism they got and are working on it.
He added that they want to put everything into consideration for Part 2. "From the dialogues or people saying that Shiva and Isha's chemistry was somewhere missing, There was a lot of constructive criticism, so we are taking that into our stride, trying to understand that, and kind of going beyond that."
Sharing an update on Brahmastra 2, Ranbir said that Ayan Mukerji is currently shooting for War 2, after which he will begin filming for Part 2. "We start shooting hopefully by the end of next year or the beginning of 2025. But definitely, a lot of work has already been happening on the film," he added.
The actor also revealed that Brahmastra Part 2 is heavy in writing, and Ayan has gone 10 times bigger than Part 1.
Directed by Ayan Mukerji, Brahmastra starred Ranbir as Shiva, while his wife, actress Alia Bhatt, portrayed the character of Isha.
