Mumbai: In connection with the trespassing incident at actor Salman Khan's residence, the Metropolitan Magistrate Court in Bandra on Friday sent the accused, Isha Chhabra, 33, a junior artist, into judicial custody. According to the police, she has no criminal background and only wished to meet the actor.
The police said the actor was not at home during either of the two trespassing incidents. Although security personnel, including private guards, were deployed at Galaxy Apartments, the woman managed to enter through the main building. Initially, the police assumed she was a resident of the building. However, this has raised questions about a breach despite a Y+ security.

The police are now working to enhance the building's security measures. However, as Galaxy Apartments is a private building, thoroughly checking each visitor presents a challenge. A police officer said, “The woman entered through the main wooden gate. Her confident walk and appearance gave the impression that she was a resident of the premises, as Galaxy Apartments houses several flats. Therefore, no one stopped her initially .”
He said she reached the building's gate near the lift when a guard asked her about the purpose, she claimed the actor had invited her, he said. The police said her call records were examined but no sus- picious motive was found. They said she has been living in Mumbai since 2016 and moved to Bandra West six months ago. She worked in Kannada films as a supporting actress and in commercial advertisements.
