In the first look, Ranveer can be seen smoking cigarettes in several scenes. Akshaye, Sanjay, and Arjun are also shown smoking, which did not sit well with netizens, with many criticising the makers on social media.

Take a look at how netizens reacted:

A user joked, "Smoking ka man kar raha hai after watching Dhurandhar teaser."

"I thought Dhurandhar was going to be a realistic spy film, but it seems like they have leaned on a little massy side with the dialogues and smoking stuff. The action seems grounded. Looks promising," said a user on X.

Another user said, "They turn spy film based on a true story into a smoking ad just to copy south directors mass screen presence."

"Just the same music throughout, bikes running here and there and action with everyone smoking cigarettes. What is this #DhurandharTeaser about? Expected much better and sensible, but...," said a user.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar is scheduled to release on December 5, 2025.
