Actress Jacqueline Fernandez found herself in a rather sticky situation on Saturday evening after a fan got too close to her while clicking a selfie at an event in Mumbai. The incident did not go well with netizens who slammed the fan for invading the actress' private space.

In a video that has now gone viral, a man can be seen approaching Jacqueline for a picture, and while the actress readily obliged, he seemingly got too close to her. He was seen almost touching his face to hers, but despite that, Jacqueline continued to smile and clicked a picture with him. However, her manager came to her rescue and was seen pushing the fan away, asking him to maintain respectable distance.

The incident did not sit well with netizens who slammed the fan for his behaviour, and at the same time, they lauded Jacqueline for maintaining her composure and not losing her cool on the fan as other celebs would normally do.

"Jacqueline is so sweet, she was so polite and didn’t react to the fan getting close. She seems lovely. Although men really need to behave and not intrude in others’ space (sic)," a user commented, while another said, "Jacqueline is so kind so humble (sic)."

On the work front, Jacqueline recently made heads turn at the coveted Cannes Film Festival 2025, and she will be next seen in the film, Housefull 5. The film also stars Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Nana Patekar, Nargis Fakhri, Sonam Bajwa, and Soundarya Sharma, among others.

Besides, she is also a part of Welcome To The Jungle, which also stars Akshay Kumar in the lead, along with Raveena Tandon, Disha Patani, Shreyas Talpade, Mika Singh, and others.
