Love Gyaan...From Aamir Khan: Relationship Tips And Red Flags From The Superstar
In the age of situationships and dating apps, here's some love advice from Aamir Khan

Aamir Khan |
At the media roundtable (actually it was rectangular in shape) for Sitaare Zameen Par, this journalist asked Aamir Khan: The current generation is stuck between situationships and dating apps. What would be your advice to them?
"Who am I to give advice? I've not been particularly successful in my own relationships!" he told me.
Which is when I corrected him. "I would disagree Aamir. You're in touch and on good terms with both your ex wives. And you have a current girlfriend. That's a very big thing."
And he agreed, "Actually, that's true! I have been remarkably successful."
And then the man who took down Ghajini generously gave us his answer regarding relationship tips and how he discovered the meaning of red flags.
"I would strongly advise youngsters to make use of therapy for their advantage to have potentially better relationships. I feel relationships should be given a lot of value because that is all there is in this life. So they should be positive, healthy, give you support, give you encouragement and meaning to your life," Aamir said.
Talking about his emotional side, Aamir said when he would get angry or hurt the child in him would come out. "I was very unforgiving, very passive aggressive. I would just shut myself off with someone I've had a fight with. I remember once having a fight with Kiran, i don't even remember what it was about, but I didn't speak to her for three days. As a result one day she just started crying, saying she didn't know how to deal with someone who wouldn't talk to her. Earlier there were a lot of flaws in me which I think I was able to overcome with my therapy and understanding what all I'm doing which is wrong. I was very judgmental as a person. The child comes out in me very fast. I didn't speak to Juhi (Chawla) for seven years! If I had an argument with you, I wouldn't even look at you. Actually, as a person, i guess I'm most like my character in Raja Hindustani, who doesn't speak to the person if he gets angry."
And there's a new word he's added to his vocabulary- red flags.
"I've understood what red flags are now. Now if a really beautiful woman come up to me, but if I see she probably has 14 red flags, then I know I need to be careful!"
