The title track of the recently-released blockbuster Saiyaara has taken the nation by storm, and amid all the buzz, a 'Kishore Kumar version' of the song, made using Artificial Intelligence (AI), has gone viral on social media. The song was widely shared online, with netizens opining that the AI version is even better than the original.
The Kishore Kumar version of Saiyaara can be seen juxtaposed on the iconic song, Rimjhim Gire Sawan, featuring Amitabh Bachchan and Moushumi Chatterjee, strolling around the lanes of Mumbai amidst heavy rain.
"This is so soothing, at first I thought the Saiyaara song was rewritten (sic)," a user commented under the video on X. Another wrote, "The edit is really good, even better than original." "India literally lost Real Creators in music industry (sic)," a fan wrote.
Some also argued that despite it being a decent attempt at recreating Kishore Kumar's voice, the AI version could not match the original voice of the legendary singer. "Only true Kishor fans will not go 'wow' on this video effort. The original song + the video is a masterpiece. None can replace them even if may seem perfect fit for some noobs (sic)," an X user wrote.
"Good effort with retro style rhythm arrangement.. sounds better than original.. yet not even 10% of the power, energy, vibrancy, voice, singing of what KK cud have achieved (sic)," another mentioned.
