Kahaani Actor Parambrata Chattopadhyay, Wife Piya Chakraborty Welcome Baby Boy 1.5 Years After Marriage

Bengali actor Parambrata Chattopadhyay, best known in Bollywood for playing a cop in Vidya Balan's Kahaani, welcomed his first child with his wife, social worker Piya Chakraborty in Kolkata. The two are reportedly now proud parents to a baby boy.

According to a report in Times Now, Parambrata and Piya welcomed their first child on Sunday, on the auspicious occasion of Jamai Shashti. The couple is yet to officially announce the good news on social media.

It was on Valentines Day this year, when Parambrata and Piya had announced their pregnancy. Sharing photos of their pets, and then making the announcement, they wrote, "A bit late to the Valentine’s party.. We were busy with this: 1. This is us 2. This is our eldest, Nina 3. Then last year came Bagha 4. Our bubble of love is growing: a human being to join the tribe soon! (sic)."

Congratulatory wishes poured in for the couple as soon as the cutest pregnancy announcement went viral.

Parambrata and Piya tied the knot in November 2023.
