On Saturday, Donald Trump took to social media to announce that India and Pakistan have agreed to ceasefire. Many Bollywood celebs have reacted to it and even Pakistani actress Mawra Hocane posted about it on social media. The Sanam Teri Kasam actress wrote, "Finally the world can see that Pakistan has & will always stand for Peace. However if we are pushed into a war, our bravery & determination is unmatched. Our soldiers protected us with integrity, valour & grace and our nation's resolve was unified & exemplary.”

She further wrote, “Nothing & no one that attempts to challenge Pakistan's sovereignty will be spared, make no mistake! Here's to working towards peace & kindness yet again.. our forces are the wind beneath our wings and soar, we shall! Pakistan Zindabad, Pakistan Forces Paindabad.”

Well, netizens on X are slamming Mawra for her post. A netizen tweeted, “Stopping a war after initiating it isn’t something to glorify. Facts matter more than emotions. It’s better to look at history through a neutral lens rather than nationalist filters. (But it's also important to remember the full context of wars like 1947, 1965, 1971, and Kargil) (sic).”

Harshvardhan Rane On Not Doing Sanam Teri Kasam 2

On Saturday, Mawra’s Sanam Teri Kasam co-actor Harshvardhan Rane took to his Instagram story and revealed that if anyone of the previous (hinting at Mawra’s casting) is a part of Sanam Teri Kasam 2, he won’t do the film.

The actor shared, "While I am grateful for the experience however as things stand, and after reading the direct comments made about my country, I have made a decision to respectfully decline to be a part of Sanam Teri Kasam part 2 if there is any possibility of the previous cast being repeated."
