Legendary rock band Guns N' Roses returned to Mumbai on May 17, 2025, performing at Mahalaxmi Race Course and marking their first concert in India after 13 years. This show is part of their 2025 world tour, titled 'Because What You Want & What You Get Are Two Completely Different Things.' The band members took fans on a nostalgic rollercoaster ride with iconic hits like Paradise City, Sweet Child o' Mine, November Rain, Knockin' on Heaven's Door, Patience, Don't Cry, and Welcome to the Jungle.

The band's lineup features Axl Rose performing vocals and piano, Slash on lead guitar, and Duff McKagan on bass guitar. Additional touring members comprise Richard Fortus on guitar, Dizzy Reed and Melissa Reese on keyboards, and Isaac Carpenter on drums.

Standing on stage, Axl praised the 'power-packed audience' and expressed his joy at returning. "How you doing? It’s good to see you again, Mumbai," he said, connecting with the crowd.

As the night neared its end, Axl turned to the crowd and shouted, "Mumbai, are you ready for one more?" The band kicked off into their explosive closing number, Paradise City, as tens of thousands of voices roared in unison, and the entire venue pulsed with electric energy and nostalgia.

Guns N' Roses also shared a footage from their Mumbai concert on their official Instagram account, thanking fans for their overwhelming response and enthusiasm.

The band first came to India in December 2012.

Guns N' Roses’ 2025 tour kicked off on May 1 in Incheon, South Korea, and is set to wrap up on July 31 at the Wacken Open Air festival in Germany.
