Mumbai: A major traffic jam occurred in Worli and Tardeo on Saturday evening, lasting nearly three hours, due to a concert held at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse. The legendary rock band Guns N' Roses took the stage at 6:45 PM and performed until 10 PM.

Pradnya Jedge, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic), South Mumbai, stated, "Between 5:30 PM and around 8:30 PM, internal roads in the Worli and Tardeo areas experienced heavy traffic congestion. However, the Coastal Road and the Bandra-Worli Sea Link remained clear."

Meanwhile, several commuters reported that the Coastal Road and nearby routes were also packed with vehicles, causing significant delays.

The concert at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse drew a massive crowd, with many fans reportedly walking long distances—nearly 4 km—in long queues just to reach the venue. The overwhelming turnout reflected the high level of excitement surrounding the event.

Guns N' Roses returned to Mumbai as part of their Asia Tour, following their much-anticipated appearance at Lollapalooza 2025. Their performance on Saturday marked their return to the city after 12 years.
