'Govinda Aur Sunita Kabhi Alag Nahi Ho Sakte': Filmmaker Pahlaj Nihalani Reacts To Rumours Of The Actor's Divorce

Veteran filmmaker Pahlaj Nihalani has worked with Govinda in many films like Ilzaam, Shola Aur Shabnam, Aankhen, and Rangeela Raja. All these movies were produced by Nihalani, and apart from Rangeela Raja, others did quite well at the box office. Recently, during an interview with Vickey Lalwani, Nihalani opened up about the rumours of Govinda and his wife Sunita Ahuja's divorce.

While talking about it, the filmmaker said, "Govinda aur Sunita kabhi alag nahi ho sakte. Unn logo ka relationship dosti ka hai. Sunita is always open, matlab woh mou pe kuch bhi bol degi. Woh mean nahi karti, lekin bol degi; banavti nahi hai woh. Agar Sunita kuch bol rahi hai, toh marketing ho rahi hai Govinda ki (Govinda and Sunita can never be separated. Their relationship is that of friendship. Sunita is always open, meaning she will say anything on your face. She does not mean it, but she will say it; she is not a fake person. If Sunita is saying something, then it is Govinda's marketing)."

Pahlaj Nihalani On Rumours Of Govinda Dating A Marathi Film Actress

When Nihalani was asked about the rumours of Govinda being in a relationship with a Marathi film actress, the filmmaker said, "Sunita aur Govinda ka amar prem hai, woh prem koi leke nahi jaa sakta." He further stated that even if Govinda has 10 relationships, he won't leave her.

Further talking about Sunita and Govinda staying separately, Nihalani said, "Yeh jo alag rehte hai, shuru se hie yeh jo haina bungalow, saari meetings waha pe karta hai kyuke raat ko woh late sota hai. Govinda ke saath har jagah hoti hai woh. (They live separately because, since the beginning, he used to hold all the meetings in the bungalow as he sleeps late at night. She is with Govinda everywhere)."

He further added, "Aaj Govinda ke paas ek bhi picture nahi hai, lekin har din show kar raha hai. Sunita uska business dekh rahi hai.
