Udaipur Files Controversy
Udaipur Files is based on the murder of a tailor named Kanhaiya Lal Sahu. The incident had taken place in 2022, and petitions were filed to ban the release of the movie. However, the Central government cleared the film on August 6, and the makers decided to release it on August 8.
Updaipur Files Review
The Free Press Journal reviewer gave the film 2 stars and wrote, "Udaipur Files is a well-intentioned movie; it does tell a true story. But it is a badly made film. A better narration, good production value, and most importantly, some talented actors would have made this film watchable."
