Actress Nidhhi Agerwal faced backlash after being spotted travelling in an Andhra Pradesh government car during her recent visit to Bhimavaram for a store launch event. A video went viral showing the vehicle’s number plate marked ‘On Govt Duty.’ In response to the criticism, the actress issued a statement clarifying that no government officials were involved, addressing several false reports suggesting the vehicle was provided to her by government authorities.

"I would like to address and clarify certain speculations circulating on social media regarding my recent visit to Bhimavaram for a store launch event. During the event, the local organisers arranged transportation for me, which happened to be a vehicle belonging to the Andhra Pradesh government. I wish to clearly state that I had no role in requesting this vehicle- it was provided solely by the event organisers for logistical purposes."

Further, in her statement, Nidhhi clarified that some online reports and posts wrongly suggest the vehicle was sent to her by government officials. She firmly denied these claims as 'completely baseless,' stating she has no connection in this context and that the use of the vehicle had nothing to do with any government officials.

"I deeply value my audience, and it is important to clarify my truth so that no misinformation is carried forward. I am grateful to my fans and well-wishers for their constant love and support," read the statement.
