Aamir Khan Reveals He Would Like To Play The Role Of Lord Krishna In Mahabharat; Says, ‘I Am Very Inspired’

Aamir Khan will next be seen in Sitaare Zameen Par which is slated to release on June 20, 2025. However, his ambitious project Mahabharat has been the talk of the town from the past few months. Recently, he attended ABP Network’s India@2047 Summit, and there he spoke about the movie. He called it his dream and also revealed that which character he would like to play in it.
When asked about Mahabharat, the actor said, “It is my dream that I make Mahabharat. It is a difficult dream. Mahabharat will never let you down, but you might let Mahabharat down. Once Sitaare Zameen Par releases on June 20, then I will start work on Mahabharat. Yes, I am trying. It is a big project, so I don’t want to say things.”
When he was asked which role he would like to play in the movie, Aamir said, “Actually, I like the character of Lord Krishna. I am very inspired, so that is the role I love.”
Well, Aamir in an interview earlier had revealed that Mahabharat will be released in multiple parts, but all the parts will be shot simultaneously, and more than one director will be helming. Earlier, he had stated that he is majorly interested in the project as a producer, and he will later think about a role in it as an actor.

Meanwhile, Aamir will now be busy with the promotions of Sitaare Zameen Par. The trailer of the movie will be out on May 8, 2025. The first look poster was released a few days ago, and it had received a good response. Now, all eyes are on the trailer.
Directed by RS Prassana, the movie also stars Genelia Deshmukh in the lead role. Both Aamir and Genelia will be seen on the big screens after a gap of around 3 years.
