HPPSC HPAS Recruitment 2025: The application window for the Himachal Pradesh Administrative Services (Mains) Combined Competitive Examination 2025 will be closed today, August 5, 2025, by the Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC). Those who are qualified can apply on the official website of HPPSC at hppsc.hp.gov.in.
The official notice reads, "It may be noted that any delay in applying through the Online Recruitment Application or documents in support beyond the prescribed date will not be allowed and will lead to cancellation of the candidature for the Himachal Pradesh Administrative Service Combined Competitive (Main) Examination -2025. To register for the mains examination, candidates need to follow the steps given below:
Step 1: Visit the official website of HPPSC at hppsc.hp.gov.in.
Step 2: After this, on the homepage, click on the What’s New tab.
Step 3: Next, go to the HPAS Mains 2025 application link and then register.
Step 4: Now, login to apply, fill out the form carefully and then submit.

HPPSC HPAS Recruitment 2025: Selection process
Candidates will be chosen based on the results of the Screening Test/Preliminary Examination, Mains Examination, and personality test.
HPPSC HPAS Recruitment 2025: Exam pattern
1. Preliminary Exam: This level included two papers: General Studies and Aptitude Test. Both are objective-type (multiple choice) and have a total score of 400. It functions solely as a screening test. The marks obtained at this level will not be considered in the final merit list.
2. Mains Exam: This stage consists of obligatory subjects (such as English and Hindi) and one optional topic selected by the applicant. Each paper is three hours long. The marks in the English and Hindi examinations are not used for ranking, but candidates must obtain at least 40% in each to qualify.
