Greenwood High’s Rishikesh Madhuvairy Scores Perfect 45 In IBDP 2025

IBDP result 2025: Greenwood High International School, located in Bengaluru, is filled with pride and jubilation after the students of the school achieved a remarkable show of performance in May 2025 International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) examinations.

Leading the pack is Rishikesh Madhuvairy, School Captain, who achieved a total score of 45 — a score that placed him as one of the best-performing students globally. Rishikesh will proceed to Rice University in the United States to study Materials Science.

Talking about his success, Rishikesh mentioned, "I am glad that two years of tireless work in IBDP has been rewarded with a perfect score. I have understood throughout this experience that there are no alternatives to commitment and dedication.". I am beyond grateful to my teachers at Greenwood High for supporting me and making this dream come true.”

Rishikesh is not alone in making headlines. Five other students — Anish Vivek, Keerthana Rajesh, Maadhav Prem, Manavi Nath, and Prisha Pillai — secured an outstanding 44 points. Of these, Anish will do Computer Science at the University of Illinois Urbanchampaign, Keerthana will be on a Pre-Medicine course at Johns Hopkins University, and Maadhav and Prisha have both been accepted to the University of Cambridge. Manavi will do Physics at Imperial College London.

In addition, ten more students scored an impressive 43 points — representing 14% of the cohort — while 27% of the students scored 40 points or more. Nearly every student (99%) was awarded the IB Diploma, marking an academic milestone for the school.

Mrs. Niru Agarwal, Managing Trustee, Greenwood High, attributed the success to a mix of reasons. "These results are a testament to the academic rigor, committed faculty mentorship, individual attention to every student, and the well-rounded learning environment that Greenwood High provides. We congratulate all our graduates and wish them continued success as they embark on their higher education journeys across top global universities,” she said.

Adding to the school’s accomplishments, the Class of 2025 has collectively secured over 11.3 million US dollars in scholarships from universities across the globe — including institutions in the US, UK, India, Italy, Spain, Germany, Canada, Australia, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
