For the academic year 2025–2026, the Directorate of Education (DoE) has opened the application window for admission to Delhi's private, unaided, recognised schools in the nursery, kindergarten (KG), and first grade today, November 28. Parents can register their children for open category seats by going to edudel.nic.in, the official website.
Registration applications must be submitted by December 20. The first general admission lists will be released on January 17, 2025.
How to register?
-Go to edudel.nic.in, the official website.
-Find the Delhi Nursery Admissions 2025 application link.
-Fill out the necessary information for both you and your child.
-Upload the required files according to your category.
-Fill out the application and pay the registration money.
-Download and store a copy of the application that was submitted for your records.
Age limit
Nursery (Pre-school): 3–4 years
KG (Pre-primary): 4–5 years
Class 1: 5–6 years

For Delhi Nursery Admission 2025, you'll need to submit the following documents:
- Age Proof
- Address Proof:
- Ration Card/Smart Card issued in the name of parents (mother/father) having the name of the child
- Aadhar Card/UID card issued in the name of any of the parents
- Domicile certificate
- Income Certificate: For EWS candidates, an Income Certificate issued by a revenue officer not below the rank of Tehsildar
- Caste Certificate: For SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy layer) candidates, a certificate issued by a Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tehsildar
- Disability Certificate: For children with special needs or disabilities, a certificate issued by a government hospital
- Passport-size Photographs: At least 2 passport-size pictures of the child and parents each
