Assam PAT Registration 2025: The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Assam, will soon end the application process for admission to the State Government Polytechnics of Assam's three-year diploma in Engineering and Technology Programme for the academic year 2025-26. Applicants can register for the exam on the official website dte.assam.gov.in until June 7, 2025.

The reservations are available for SC, ST(P), ST(H), OBC/MOBC, Koch-Rajbongshi, Tai-Ahom, Chutia, Moran, Matak, Grandchildren of freedom fighters, children of defence or central govt. employees, PwD, TFW, EWS, and TSLC.

Assam PAT Registration 2025: Eligibility criteria

1. Aspirants must be at least 16 years old as of December 31, 2025. There is no maximum age limit.

2. Candidates must complete the HSLC or equivalent test in a single sitting, with Mathematics and Science as required subjects and no grace marks in Science and Mathematics.

3. The applicant should be a permanent resident of Assam.

4. For sports quota, applicants must be a medal winner of State Games/State Championships/Tournaments organized by Assam Olympic Association/State

Assam PAT Registration 2025: Registration fees

The registration charge is Rs. 300, plus any relevant taxes. The admission fee for general candidates is Rs 47,000 and for TFW (Tuition Fee Waiver) candidates, the admission fee is Rs 42,000.

Step 1: Visit the official website of DTE Assam at dte.assam.gov.in.

Step 2: Click on the “Admission into State Government Polytechnics for the session 2025-26” link, available on the homepage.

Step 3: After this, applicants need to register and proceed with the application process.

Step 4: Now, fill out the form, make the payment, and submit the form.

Step 5: Download the form and take a printout of the same for future reference.
