6-Year-Old Allegedly Beaten At Delhi MCD School; Case Filed Against Teacher
A 6-year-old student of Class 1 was allegedly beaten at Nagar Nigam School in Shri Ram Colony on February 17. A case has been registered against the teacher, and the investigation is ongoing, as per the authorities.

Delhi School MCD Incident: A 6-year-old student of Class 1 was allegedly beaten at Nagar Nigam School in Shri Ram Colony on February 17. The incident was reported through a PCR call on the next day. Delhi Police informed news agency ANI that after the child was taken to JPC Hospital, it was found that the student had internal bleeding in the ear, though no external injuries were observed.
The child's mother did not file a police report, stating that the child's father had left for their hometown in Bihar.
After a legal examination, a case has been filed under Section 115(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and Section 75 of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015, and an inquiry has begun.
"The child's mother did not lodge any complaint with the police on the pretext that the child's father had gone to his native place in Bihar. An offence has been registered under section 115 (2) BNS and section 75 of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015 and a case is being registered accordingly," said Delhi Police, as reported by news agency ANI.
