Telecom Egypt Joins Hands With KareXpert, To Build AI-Powered Digital Healthcare Platform
Telecom Egypt and KareXpert have partnered to launch a secure, AI-based national healthcare platform hosted on Egypt’s cloud. It will boost hospital efficiency, safeguard patient data, and support the country’s digital health transformation under Vision 2030.

Cairo/Gurugram: Telecom Egypt has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with KareXpert, an AI-powered healthcare technology company, to develop a national digital healthcare platform hosted on a secure local cloud in Egypt.
This new platform will provide hospitals with a Hospital Information Management System (HIMS), unified electronic medical records, and revenue cycle management tools. The aim is to help hospitals manage both clinical and administrative tasks efficiently and securely, improving performance and patient care.
KareXpert is backed by Reliance Jio and has deep expertise in digital healthcare. Its platform already supports over 500 hospitals and 15 million patients across 6 countries, including India’s top healthcare groups like Apollo, CK Birla, Reliance, and others.
Secure, Scalable, and Smart Health System
The platform will:
- Integrate easily with hospitals’ current systems
- Offer unified digital billing to speed up payments
- Ensure data privacy and regulatory compliance
Be hosted within Egypt to maintain complete control over sensitive health data
Be scalable for future AI and IoT healthcare applications
This initiative supports Egypt’s Vision 2030, focusing on a digitally enabled healthcare ecosystem.

Mohamed Nasr, CEO of Telecom Egypt, said the company has expanded from providing fiber networks and 5G services to offering cloud and AI-based solutions. He emphasized that the partnership with KareXpert will bring secure, easy-to-use platforms for hospitals, boosting data privacy and efficiency.
Nidhi Jain, CEO of KareXpert, said the partnership will allow fast rollout across Egypt, offering reliable and accessible healthcare to the population.
This collaboration was announced during Africa Health ExCon 2025 in Cairo, signaling a big step toward digitally transforming Egypt’s healthcare infrastructure.
