PM Kisan 20th Installment Likely In July, Farmers Advised To Complete e-KYC & Bank Updates

New Delhi: Farmers across India are eagerly waiting for the 20th installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. The good news is that the money might be sent in the first or second week of July.

Under this scheme, farmers receive Rs 6000 every year in three parts of Rs 2000 each. The last installment, the 19th, was released on 24 February 2025. Since the installment comes every four months, it was expected by the end of June.

But as of now, the government has not announced an official date. Some media reports claim the 20th installment will be released in July. PM Modi may release it during a special event.

Complete e-KYC to Get Rs 2000 in Account

Many farmers miss their payments because their e-KYC is not complete. The government has clearly said that without e-KYC, the money will not be sent.

There are three ways to do e-KYC

OTP-based e-KYC – If your mobile is linked to Aadhaar, do this on the PM Kisan website.

Biometric e-KYC – Visit the nearest CSC center and complete KYC using fingerprint.

Face authentication – Special method for senior citizens or disabled farmers, available at CSC centers.

Make sure your Aadhaar name matches the record. If not, go to ‘Updation of Self Registered Farmer’ on the PM Kisan website and update it.

Bank Details and Mobile Number Must Be Correct

Some farmers don’t receive payments even when it is sent by the government. This usually happens because of errors in bank details – wrong IFSC code, closed account, or account not linked to Aadhaar.

Check your bank details and correct any mistakes. Also, update your mobile number on the PM Kisan website. You will receive SMS alerts when the installment is sent.

If your old number is not working, follow these steps:

- Go to PM Kisan official website

- Click on ‘Update Mobile Number’

- Enter Aadhaar or registration number

- Enter your new number and verify with OTP

- Check Your Name in the Beneficiary List

If your name is not in the PM Kisan Beneficiary List, you won’t get the money. Check it on the PM Kisan website:

- Visit pmkisan.gov.in

- Click on ‘Know Your Status’ or ‘Beneficiary List’

- Select your state, district, block, village

- Look for your name in the list

- Prepare Early to Get Rs 2000 Directly in Your Account

This will be the 20th installment under the scheme. To make sure you receive it smoothly in July, complete all required updates – e-KYC, bank account correction, Aadhaar name check, and mobile update.
