Dassault Aviation & Tata Advanced Systems To Build Rafale Fuselages In Hyderabad, Know More About Tata Advanced Systems

Mumbai: Dassault Aviation from France and Tata Advanced Systems from India have signed four key agreements to produce important parts of the Rafale fighter jet in India.

This partnership is a big boost for India’s defense manufacturing. It also helps India become an important player in the global aerospace supply chain.

New Rafale Fuselage Factory in Hyderabad

Tata Advanced Systems will set up a new, advanced factory in Hyderabad. This factory will make the fuselage, which is the main body of the Rafale aircraft.

The plant will produce key parts such as:

- Lateral shells of the rear fuselage

- Full rear section

- Central fuselage

- Front section

Production Starts in FY2028

The first fuselage parts are expected to be ready by the financial year 2028. Once the factory is fully operational, it will be able to produce up to two complete fuselages every month.
