The City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) has initiated the hearing process for Navi Mumbai Airport Influence Notified Area (NAINA) Urban Development Plans 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12. Landowners in the affected regions have been urged to actively participate in the hearings to ensure transparency and inclusivity in the planning process.
NAINA aims to promote planned and sustainable urban development in the region surrounding the upcoming Navi Mumbai International Airport. A total of 12 urban planning projects have been proposed under NAINA, out of which Plans 1 and 2 have already received final approval, while Plans 3 to 7 have been granted preliminary clearance. The hearing process for Plans 8 to 12 has now commenced, allowing landowners to present their claims and concerns regarding land allocation.
CIDCO has emphasized its commitment to developing essential infrastructure in NAINA through systematic urban planning. As part of this initiative, the hearing process will address land demarcation and ownership-related concerns. Landowners are encouraged to submit their objections and suggestions during the hearings to ensure a fair and transparent land allocation process.
To facilitate the participation of concerned stakeholders, CIDCO has launched an awareness campaign urging landowners to attend hearings with the necessary documentation. The hearings are being conducted at the NAINA Tribunal Office, 7th Floor, Tower No. 10, CBD Belapur Railway Station Complex, Navi Mumbai.
Landowners with objections regarding their allotted plots are advised to voice their concerns during the hearings, as CIDCO has assured a transparent resolution process. The authority has also emphasized that the hearings will provide clarity regarding land ownership and legal allocations.
CIDCO remains committed to promoting sustainable and well-planned urban development in the NAINA region. The success of this initiative is expected to play a crucial role in Maharashtra's infrastructural growth. In this context, landowners have been urged to actively engage in the hearing process and cooperate with CIDCO in ensuring smooth implementation of the NAINA urban plans.
